spoke of the old port of Marseilles. The city has a population of 850,000 and is vibrant. There are many old historic buildings and many youth. We woke up at 1:30pm, missed breakfast and lunch at the hotel and found a cafe with coffee!!!!!Along the harbour, there is a 10 kms promenade, and many beaches. Families are sharing picnics, playing bocce, or lounging. Some windsurfers were actually airborne, 10 meters in the air, having a blast. Peter and I jogged 8 kms, to shake of the jetlag. And, our 3 beautiful sons texted me with Mother's Day wishes...wish that they were here!!!!!
That evening, we ate at the bar. Peter claims to have eaten the best hamburger ever. Unfortunately, we could not sleep that night, watching BBC at 2 am.
Next morning, had an alarm at 9 am, had a light breakfast, a refreshing swim and prepared for our drive to Hotel Crillon de Brave in Provence.

I hope you wrote down where Peter had the best hamburger ever. Was it at the hotel bar? If so which hotel? One of my life's missions is definitely to find the world's best hamburger.
